Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you all know that I update my tumblr ( ) with my doodles, but I'm also going to try my best to remember to update my Scrap Gallery here as well. Try being the key word. ;)

I just put a Reyes Vidal and some random OC portrait in there!

Hey all -

Just a quick update that I have been slacking again on getting new stuff out. I was sucked into the Final Fantasy XV, then the Mystic Messenger hole, and now I'm deep in the Mass Effect: Andromeda black hole. Just been taking my sweet time with ME:A, but I think I'll have it finished by tonight. If anyone would like to send some Jaal and/or Reyes Vidal art, be my guest and I'll love you forever.

So, other things that happened/are happening:

1. I finally was able to reveal the 2 pieces I made for :iconviciousshadi: 's BLUES de CHOCOBROS fanzine! You can read her journal about it and  pre-order the fanzine here:
BLUES de CHOCOBROS: MEET THE GUEST ARTISTSI promised an update on my upcoming fanbook "Blues de Chocobros"--let's talk about some of the guest artists who are contributing to this book!
Biodin is a longtime friend of mine, and we more or less reconnected thanks to FFXV! She brings her incredible detailed work to the pages of Blues de Chocobro with an illustration of Best Mom Ignis and the Adorkable Chocobo-loving Prompto!

Orcagirl2001 and I used to roll at the artist alleys, and I'm pleased to be bringing her brand of illustration to Blues de Chocobro! Japanese culture is her passion, which she brings to us in this fantastic matsuri scene featuring the Chocobros!

These illustrations will be available in both versions of Blues de Chocobro! PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY TODAY!:
I'll be planning another FFXV book soon, so if you'd like to be included, stay tuned!
FFXV: The Man Who Does it All by Biodin   Don't Move Prompto! by Biodin

2. In late March I was blindsided by a vet emergency for my  11-year old cat. Literally he went from being fine one day, to breathing strange, to struggling to breath, to dying during x-ray tests while under sedation in about 2 weeks. I was shocked and a bit shaken up by that, even though the vet concluded he most likely had heart disease or cancer and he'd probably had it for over a year.

3. May will hopefully bring better things. I leave for a parents/siblings trip to Cancun first week of May and then end of May will be a solo trip to New Zealand and Australia! I'm crazy excited, I really need this.

4. I'm behind on messages and commenting on deviations! I will remedy this after I return from my Cancun trip! If you'd like to commission me I am open, but again, I won't get to them until after I return! :)

Thanks to everyone for your support!
Just a little update to show I haven't died. Seems like I've read a lot of journal entries about people abandoning DA. I've been so bad about getting on here that I haven't even had the common courtesy to give even that much.

I've basically been working, paying off student loans, and traveling. This year I went to Greece, Italy, Tampa,  Honduras, and Japan! I set a trip to New Zealand and Australia for May. Seeing this big beautiful world is my passion.

Those were the highlights of my year. My grandmother died in April after a year fighting stage 4 colon cancer so it's been a rough year not having her in my life. Life seems to be getting a lot weirder, but I have a lot of hope for things to come.

Outside of that, I'm just now forcing myself to break back into my art. Hoping to have more good stuff soon. Also fell head-first into Final Fantasy XV - I waited 10 YEARS so I had to set aside time to get the fullest I could out of this game. So I'll be appreciating all the FFXV fan art I see on here.
So that's all I have to share for now, I'm very open to commissions so if you're interested, message me here or email me:

May you all have a blessed 2017!

Hey all...

I'm so sorry I've been AWOL! Life has changed a lot for me in the last few years and it's been fun, exciting, and a bit crazy! Sometimes I just don't have the attention span to upload my work to every single social media outlet. >___<;

ANYWHO! I wanted to open up my commissions to the public again to see if anyone is interested! I'm finally in a lull on my freelance work and have the time to get started on new work right now. If you are interested, feel free to message me here on DA or e-mail me for more info/put in a request ( I will send a digital proof and mail you the original/print(dependingg on what you get)!

I got tagged by :iconmastertubaman:

Teh Rules:
1. You must post these rules (very, VERY Important )
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create ten new
questions for the people you tag to answer.
3. You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
4. Go to their pages and tell them you have tagged her/him.
5. No tag backs
6. No crap in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you're reading this."
You legitimately (AKA, really, truly with all honesty) have to tag 10 people.

1. What reason would I tag you?
I assume...because he wanted to see if I'd actually do this survey...and I did so THERE! BWUAHA.

2. What land do you hail from?
A land down unda! Or...the Midwest...specifically OH...I like my first answer.

3. Cupcakes or Pie?
This is totally not specific! Like are we talking peanut butter cupcake to key lime pie (totally unequal ground)??? OR like carmel filled chocolate cupcake to oreo pie (more equal ground)? I guess I'd say... cupcake. This is the most difficult question of all that are on this survey.

4. If you could tame one animal, what would it be?
Something in the cat family...a liger. Yep.

5. Ok, so a professor created a machine that can materialize anything you wanted, however, you can only do one request, what would it be?
The perfect man...Nightcrawler/Colossus/Batman/Nightwing/Vincent Valentine/Squall (the last 2 are moody but I could take it!). Just one...I only need one.

6. Which Video Game would you like to live in?
Lets face it.Most video games no one would really want to live in. Most of the worlds are about to come to and end or are horrific in one way or another. But let me go with Mass Effect.

7. What is one thing you like about :iconmastertubaman: ?
He's pretty honst and sincere for starters.

8. What is one thing you dislike about :iconmastertubaman: ?
All Ohio State football fans are a little scary...I MEAN NOTHING! THERE IS NOTHING TO DISLIKE!

9. What is your preferred method in taking out a Tank from Left 4 Dead?
Let's make it personal-shot gun to the face. That's how I roll.

10. Do you like Homestuck? 8D

My Questions to the Infected, I mean Tagged:

1. What was the last thing you drew?
2. What is your addiction (ex. Facebook/ebay/Farmville)?
3. Optimist or pessimist?Give 3 reasons why you are either/or/or both.
4. Are you double jointed? Where at?
5. Favorite thing about winter?
6. Favorite artist?
7. No matter how big/small, what do you beleive is your best accomplishment?
8. Current favorite TV show?
9. Last art-related book you bought?
10. If you had 100 million dollars and could start any business what you open?

Tag you're it:
And because I have no one else... :)
  • Listening to: The Heavy - Short Change Hero
  • Reading: All sorts of Web Comics
  • Watching: Batman Beyond
  • Playing: Batman: Arkham City
  • Eating: Oreo ATTACK.

Also have a printed mini sketchbook for $5 as well!

Currently...I'm looking for a job. Just started freelancing for Hasbro but I need a solid job for steady are comin for me ya'll! I'm redoing my portfolio...but I have no idea what the focus is going to be. It's the sad truth but I just don't know what to do. Ah well, boo hoo, right?

I'll draw your original character, I'll draw your favorite (Marvel/DC/anime/movie/video game/etc) character, I'll illustrate your writing, I'll create a cohesive branding for your page (banners, business cards, post cards, etc) please just put me to work! hahaha!

Well...EVERYTHING IS FINALLY DONE! No more scheduling classes, no more 7-8 classes for that matter, no more loans (besides what I have to start paying in December BLAH), NO MORE CCAD!!! I accomplished almost everyhing I set out to do at CCAD and now I'm sitting here awestruck by all the blessings of the last couple of months.

I graduated this past Saturday with my major in Illustration and minor in Writing! I am so thankful for the LA teachers that helped me achieve the extra credits I needed to get my minor- I am seriously in their debt for the Independant Studies they let me take with them. And all the aamazing teachers I've had over the last 4 years. The ones that pushed me when I needed to be pushed.

Throughout the entire semester I had set my focus on the Hasbro Internship competition- I had no high hopes for a great job or anything straight out of college. In fact, I had decided if I did not get Hasbro I would get a a "whatever" part time job for the rest of this year, work on my portfolio, and apply to places this fall or spring of next year. I told God that I wasn't quite sure what He wanted me to do ( I am so scattered in the art field) so I would wait to see what He had in store for me. I went against amazing artists-most whom I have become good friends with- and we helped each other along the way; sharing advice, time, and new techniques to one another.  I am truly grateful to everyone that had any hand in helping me along the way. I pray the best for them in whatever they do because they are all hard workers.

And then on April 28th, I was chosen as one of the final 5 for an interview with Hasbro. I was ecstatic! And a nervous wreck as I fumbled together my presentation before the Hasbro representative, Jan, who I had watched do the initial Hasbro process demo the last 2 years. I walked away from the interview feeling I had done my best, and I waited 2 looooooong weeks to find out who had gotten the internship.

But yesterday, when I had finally decided I would let the whole matter just be, and I had truly forgotten about Hasbro yesterday actually, I saw a phone number come up that I didn't recognize. It was Hasbro-to tell me they were just calling around to thank the participants in the contest. My heart sank a little but I was 85% not believing it. He talked for about a minute like that and then he couldn't take it anymore and told me I was going to Rhode Island! I'll be a temp at Hasbro, sculpting figures for their upcoming lines; I'll be flown to Rhode Island, housed in an extended stay America, and paid well for the next 3 months AT LEAST! And it's such an amazing deal, a complete God-send for a girl who has never been away from home or on her own. And I will pay it forward in whatever way I can.

So in 2 weeks, May 31st, I will begin the first big step in my career. And I will make all that I can of it. Let life after school begin.

Yes, in 2 weeks I will begin my last semester at Columbus college of Art and Design. I'm very excited to move past college and try to make my way into the big world.

I just wanted to let everyone know I have these next 2 weeks to do whatever I please. Or possibly, whatever you would like me to do. I just finished :iconmastertubaman:'s commission FINALLY here:

And really, I can do whatever you'd like. Look through my profile and gallery on my website or click the banner above to go to another place I'm offering freelance at.

Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

:iconmastertubaman: -3 of his characters (FINALLY get this done..!)

Yeah, so I finished my first semester of Senior Year...and I'm tired...It was like a long blur of eventful weeks...the big downside of CCAD is having 7-8 class that are so not connected at all...I mean I was doing a video game concept project, a children's book, and fashion illustration all at once...T__T
Crazy, crazy.
So, but it's done and I did very well, but the 8 classes this is just an issue because I never get to sit and enjoy working on traditional work anymore- I'm always on the go so digital is what I've been exploring most lately.
Please commission me-PLEASE GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DO.

Oh yes. TRON was awesome. I bought the artbook a few weeks back-I wish it was more like the Tangled artbook. Tangled was also AWESOME. And Megamind. Yeah, I'm 21.

I have been working my tail off over the last few months to get pieces done and yet I still feel like I haven't gotten much done!

I just posted a few new pictures the other day and I'm glad people have been enjoying them-I promise I'll put up bigger pics of the images in a little bit! I've just been going crazy getting final projects done!

And yes, I'm created my official website this semester and it's all snazzed up and ready for your viewing!
Looky here:
  • Listening to: Demon Hunter- The Wind
  • Reading: Very soon I'll be reading something!
  • Watching: WAITING for Tron Legacy
  • Playing: Going to finish Mass Effect in 2 weeks
  • Eating: Mo food. :(

So I've been updating a bit, but NOW it's time to start the real work. Expect progress soon! I' writing the outline for my new story and I am redoing my concept work for "The Devil's Paparrazzi"...and also sculpting will occur in the next week for sure. Just have to finish prep work!

I am planning to go crazy this summer. If planning to do way more then probably possible in 3 months is crazy-then it's been decided. :)

So currently I'm looking up research work for animals and landscapes/settings/etc. If anyone has good ideas on interesting animals, settings or interesting places I should look into- TELL ME! I would be very grateful.

ALSO-artists I should look into. 2d or 3rd, anything would be helpful. Background concept artists and tutorials on cityscapes are what I'm hurting for though.

Finally, if anyone's interested, I have a blogspot and if you have one I'd love to follow your work their too! You can follow me here -

And now for everyone's enjoyment.

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place.
Even your emotions had an echo
In so much space

And when you're out there
Without care,
Yeah, I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much

Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Possibly [radio version]
probably [album version]

And I hope that you are having the time of your life
But think twice, that's my only advice

Come on now, who do you, who do you, who do you, who do you think you are,
Ha ha ha bless your soul
You really think you're in control

Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
Just like me

My heroes had the heart to lose their lives out on a limb
And all I remember is thinking, I want to be like them
Ever since I was little, ever since I was little it looked like fun
And it's no coincidence I've come
And I can die when I'm done

Maybe I'm crazy
Maybe you're crazy
Maybe we're crazy

Yeah, so this past semester...
well it was experimental to say the least...I feel like I accomplished nothing. :/ I helped others out and I guess I learned my strengths and weaknesses.
My grades were pretty good actually but practically everything I did was just not that good.
It made me realize how idiotics some of my Freshman teacher's were and why I never learned things like structural drawing/concept of color properly. It's ridiculous.

And so...
I am trying to go back and relearn some basic concepts to improve AND a friend and I are starting to get a new 3d concept together which I am calling PROJECT: P.M. aka PICNIC MONSTERS.
Not much to say about it now, but we are doing most of the concepting and sculpting during the summer, and we'll finish next semester with the blessing of our 3d teacher!

Oh, and in other news, The Show is up at CCAD right now and some of the guys in the 3d class worked on and pulled off an amazing display of "Pirate Bears"! They were even published in the Columbus Dispatch:…
And my friend Jenny did the Panda and took some photos of the bears:!/album.php?…

K so I had to get rid of that last entry. It was totally written out of anger and self-ridicule. Bad nights behind,I am replacing that crazy long message with a short one.

I need to just focus on the things that keep me going and get myself rolling as an artist.
Truth is I haven't been a good example to anyone on here so it's time to start.

Time to move forward.

Really didn't have much to say tho' guys so sorry if I worried anyone!! XD
I have been in college 3 weeks's crazy cuz I've screwed up and had to redo just about every project thus-far.

What was left of Hurricane Ike came through yesterday and took out power all over OH. I have mine thankfully, but it took out all surrounding traffic lights and business. Therefore. NO COLLEGE. Until Thursday. YES. ^__^

Currently, I am reading Watchmen...and it's a love/hate relationship leaning more on the hate side...seems the further I read the more I just want to burn the book. but it's from the library so...

So 4 weeks ago my poor wiondows xp broke down and randomly I came home to windows vista. It ain't half bad. Yet ALAS! My scanner doesn't work...nor my speakers...nor my printer...AH MY SCANNER! so you probably won't seen my work for a little while...
And I've went in a deviantART slump.

O__O I NEED to get away...I haven't relaxed at all this summer and I haven't gotten to draw AT ALL this summer. Been really stressed to the point of making myself sick lately. I'm one of those people that lets evn just one problem with a friend get me so incredibly down if it isn't fixed.

But i'm excited it'll just be Nat and I, 2 single women, out in Cali...course I am thankful we get free board with her uncle! And free travel arragements when we arrive! So we just had to pay $261 for the flight...;)

And VBS is over for my church so I don't have to put anymore work into that for now and the set turned out pretty well.

And I've been working 27 hour weeks at Godiva lately...which is lovely for money but heck for time the way it's divided up. And then in spare time as of late I've been helping out :iconfurrydragon: and her mom to make jewelry which I really enjoy doing! I didn't even mind a 10 hour day just working on that lol!

The DARK KNIGHT was incredible too btw! If you have yet to see it GO NOW!!!
